Wild ponies, fresh and
saltwater wetlands, sand dunes and small town hospitality await you in
one of Virginia’s most unique settings. Nestled amongst the barrier
islands of the DelMarVa Peninsula, Chincoteague, Assateague and Wallops
Islands offer a relaxing look at coastal ecology, maritime economics and
Eastern Shore history and legend. Experience the charm and wonder of
these islands through personal interaction with MSC
ecologists/biologists, local experts, artists, carvers and waterman,
field trips and lectures. Be sure to bring a camera to record the charm
of this quiet seafaring town.
